Everything must be free
Free Near Me is for genuinely free items, food, events and giveaways. Listings must be £0/$0/€0 with no fees, deposits, swaps, delivery charges or hidden conditions. Do not use the service to sell, trade, rent or advertise goods or services.
Community conduct
Be respectful, truthful and lawful. Do not post explicit content, weapons, drugs, medication, alcohol, tobacco, vapes, stolen or counterfeit goods, unsafe goods, scams, spam, hate, harassment, threats, exploitation or misleading content.
Listings and safety
You are responsible for what you post and collect. Free Near Me does not guarantee an item’s quality, safety, suitability or a user’s identity. Check food, allergens, packaging and electrical items carefully. Arrange collection at a safe, public place and do not include an exact home address in a listing.
Content rights
Only upload photos and content you created or have permission to share. Do not infringe someone else’s privacy, copyright or other rights. Intellectual-property concerns can be reported from the relevant listing.
Reports and moderation
We use automated checks, community reports and manual review to help keep the app safe. Some listings may display an “Under review” caution. Content that breaks these terms may be hidden or removed, and accounts may be warned, restricted, suspended or terminated.
Accounts
Keep your account secure and do not impersonate another person. You can delete your account in the app from Settings → Delete Account. Deleting an account removes associated content as described in our Privacy Policy.
